Writing Partners is a nonprofit organization based in California dedicated to facilitating and cultivating creative communities worldwide. We believe that intentional connections through creative endeavors have the power to combat loneliness, foster empathy, and provide a sense of belonging.
Our Mission
At Writing Partners, our mission is to create healthy, non-toxic ecosystems of support and connection. We understand the challenges posed by loneliness, isolation, and the resulting issues, including extremism, in today's society. By bringing people together through intentional connection rather than just shared interests, we aim to build bridges that transcend differences and nurture a sense of unity.
What We Do
Through our initiatives and programs, we provide opportunities to connect and engage in creative activities on a regular basis. Our flagship initiative, Shut Up & Write!, offers a structured space for participants to gather, focus, and immerse themselves in writing. These writing events, held both online and in-person, offer connection, community, and accountability for writers of all experience levels.
